i remember them playing it at all points west over the summer and being in awe i'm so glad i found this little gem. almost sounds like OMD but with a 50s haze and wonder about it. i cant stop replaying.

hello world/lauren who is probably the only person who will ever read this....

i am pretty frustrated right now because its late ive been in for a few hours now but im not tired/cant sleep. probably because i was in bed a total of approximately 14 hours last night (til 6pm this evening) suffering the most horrendous hangover of my lifetime. probably ingested every type of alcohol known to man friday night. also ate some really delicious/new rolls of sushi i had never heard of. tonight my friends had a party at their townhouse thing. it was cute buuuut i was kind of in a zombie state.
i bought a few new albums last week that i am enjoying thoroughly... the department of eagles album is sooo good. i recommend. i want the new mogwai but i am lacking in the cashflow dept. i'll probably find it somewhere in the interworld soon.

hey lauren i read what you wrote about the school across the street from your place and fresh prince, thats sweet. i miss philadelphia. i am missing lots and lots of good shows there now/lately. already got my ticket to bon iver in december though; trocadero. :) good since i missed him there last summer. i am trying to decide what to do with my life lately--really actually caring for the first time. its scary i want to be frozen in time and keep being 20 forever when people are all basically still on the same level and there's no monetary separation between us and no real responsibilities except grades-which i can't even keep up with god knows how i'll one day raise a family.
anyway, i'm going to stop letting these silly thoughts about my future bother me and maybe watch a movie (can't hardly wait obv) and try to slip into a deep slumber. sorry if you waaaaasted time reading my ramblings.

the past few weeks ive been on quite an emotional roller coaster now everything is cool and i'm happy and the fall weather is amazing!

these are from about a month ago when we went to nyc after me and laurens birthday. it was fun!

we saw RENT. cool! we also saw shane from an old road rules there with his boyfran. lauren made this:

halloween is soon! i have alot of plans for travel in the near future: dallas, california, london, paris & rest of europe w/ mom and its really exciting!

i just bought 6 cds for 35 dollars: counting crows- august & everything after (replacing old scratched one), phantom planet- is missing, coldplay- brothers & sisters (unreleased in U.S.!), my morning jacket live, pink floyd animals, and r.e.m.- monster. tunes, i love you!

i'm getting a new job and ummm getting some sleep schools been really strenuous lately! night!

minutes before we left my cell phone, her digital camera, weed and pipe sitting outside where it later began to rain profusely...

thankfully everything was fine when we found them after.

this summer has been amazing and i love my friends.
i miss sabrina (happy birthday!!!) and want to go back to dallas asap.
but i love it here and being at the beach constantly... and having a tan for the first time in three years is nice too. i still have alot of pictures from before dallas and after sabrina went home too so i should probably scan those or something but i need to go to sleep now cause back to work tomorrow and i need rest so goodnight!

I just ordered my dad and I's tickets for Coldplay in August. 85.00 total. Pretty awesome fathers day present i'd say. I am so angry though, I've been ready and waiting to go on and order us pit tickets right when they go sale so i get on just now exactly at twelve and i can only get 2 tickets for the lawn... then i realize the tickets went on sale at fucking 10. Oh well its Coldplay it will be amazing no matter what and tonight is going to be awesome, i dont remember the last time ive been so excited just to hang out with a few of my best friends. Time to go to work, peace.

Life has been really busy lately it seems. Whats up. I have been keeping up so well in school i havent noticed alot other wise except of course that summer is nearing so quickly and i am getting more and more anxious for that. I cant wait for my little NYC trip starting immediately after that last bell rings then ill be off to dallas for a few weeks only to return with my best friend alongside me! I attended the best show ive ever been to last wednesday and am now convinced that jenny lewis is the cutest person ever. Now Im going to hopefully finish off the fifth book of the harry potter series (i bought the book the morning it came out a few years ago and never got into it til i realized the 6th is due out in july and i needed to get through it quick!) Okay! now that ive accomplished being the biggest nerd ever ill say good night and bid you all well!

OH PS anyone like to see the wallflowers with me, sabrina and i just realized they're playing june 10th instead of july 10th and id like not to go alone!

today i went with the french club to an extremely fancy restaurant called le bec fin in philadelphia and it was so cool i felt like i was in a movie. they served everything separately over about 3 hours. i felt really bad when they served the main course cause some people had salmon and i said out loud accidentally that it smelled like the worms i had disected in bio. haha yeah im sure you all really care about my little excursion, but i have to go and study for tests and read! goodnight!

Saturday was lauren, suzie, and i's last class at Moore. Now i'll have the 8 am morning shift at work again. Here are some of the last of my good quality pictures for a while (i'll have to develop at school until my darkroom is fully installed in the garage which will be who knows when.)

p.s. the prints themselves look much better than they do here, the scanner messes up the color a bit. just fyi.

That night I saw phantom planet in nyc, it was pretty good. Driving through new york city i got to thinking and became completely overwhelmed worrying about my future. Im really confused. I know i want to go to school either there or philadelphia but i have no clue what to decide to do with my life, Im so scared ill make the wrong decision and be stuck and unhappy forever. But whatever its May, summer is soon, and Im going to be happy! Adios!

Aw, Logan's so cute! I made a few copies of that print, I found the perfect 8x10 frame for one of them, and gave it to my grandparents for their annivarsary. What's cool is that the frame was from my work and it only cost me 3.32 after all the sales that were on it. That was taken on Easter in Connecticut at my dad's brothers house. On Saturday was my dad and his twin sisters little birthday party my uncle and mom put together at the countray club! Surprisingly, we all had a lot of fun!
